The beginning of a new school year is a great time to get outside and observe nature! We are in the process of updating our free nature studies that go along with the book Our Wonderful World by Emery Lewis Howe.
So far we have updated Part I: Backyard Neighbors and Part II: Feathered Friends. That is 10 weeks to get you started.
In all there are 32 weeks’ worth of lessons including garden life, four-footed comrades, and the earth and its neighbors.
Our Wonderful World is in the public domain. You’ll find links to the free eBook on the Introduction page. There is also a free Teacher’s Manual download on the Introduction page for those looking for more structure.
As time goes on and the internet changes, resources come and go more rapidly. Quite a bit has changed — but we continue keep the study current.
This one is still a favorite.
