Summer Fun Activity: Build a Circuit

Here is an educational summer fun activity: Build a Circuit. This free simulation lab makes it easy!

You can use the virtual circuit construction kit from the PhET Simulation Lab at the University of Colorado to build your AC or DC circuit. The About tab will show you what topics are covered and give you a general idea of what can be learned using the interactive.

Click on the video play button to enter the simulation. And start experimenting!

There are activities and other teacher resources available with an account, but the simulations are free to use.

If you have questions or get stuck there are sample circuits to build and experiment with on the about page. Or use one of the free resources below for help.

Great way to keep ’em learning this summer!
