This versatile title can be used as the basis for designing your own art program or as a supplemental resource to complement any other art program you might use.

Winner of a Practical Homeschooling Reader Award, Discovering Great Artists contains over 150 hands-on activities based on the styles of great artists. Lessons are designated as easy/beginner, moderate/intermediate, and involved/experienced to help you choose those that will fit your family. The lessons are also designated by the style and/or era (abstract, impressionism, Renaissance).

But the most helpful feature of the book is the chart in the front that lists the artists in chronological order along with their style of art, the type and level of the associated activity, and prep time.
