So cute and goes so well with Karen Caroe’s christmas symbols unit study, A Blessed Christmas, that we are once again including links to these symbols of Christmas minibooks from Eclectic Education.
The minibooks cover the following symbols of Christmas (each is an individual download):
- Bells
- Candles
- Candy Cane (the shepherd’s staff)
- Decorating the Tree (ornaments)
- Holly
- Jesus in the Manger
- Mistletoe
- Poinsettias
- Presents (gifts)
- Reindeer
- Santa Claus (St. Nicholas)
- Shepherds
- Star
- Stockings
- Tree
- Wise Men
- Wreath
Each minibook has a beautiful cover showing a symbol of Christmas. Inside is space for a drawing, along with lines that can be used to write the history or meaning behind the symbol. This space could also be used to record:
- What was learned.
- What the symbol represents.
- A related Scripture verse.
- A favorite memory related to the symbol.
When folded and completed, these minibooks can be glued inside a lapbook.
Although some of the symbols covered in A Blessed Christmas are not included, and there are a few minibooks not used in the unit study, these symbols of Christmas minibooks are a great find!
